How One Simple Blood Test
Could Literally Save Your Life or a Loved One
Or All the Lives You Come in Contact With!
It is simply amazing how we take our health for granted especially when you have no reason to question it! We have a healthy son (or so we thought) who has 2 young sons who absolutely adore their father!&nbs p; He is slightly overweight and is currently on high blood pressure medication and of course the usual aches and pains of getting old. We had been reading an awful lot about Dr. Ron Schefdore’s discovery how a simple little blood test could reveal some dark secrets that we would otherwise would never have suspected. We purchased his CRP tests and Diabetic Assessment Kit and like many of you stuck it in a closet to gather dust. However Dr. Woody Oakes kept publishing his eye opening articles and our interests began to pique! Decided to break them out and put it to the test!
We used Ronnie as a guinea pig since he had been suffering from chronic irritable bowel syndrome and knew that something would come back that would confirm how bad he was out of whack. After we got the results back it definitely confirmed that he definitely had inflammation. His CRP test came back a 9 and found out that anything over a 3 was not a good thing. He had extensive testing done previously such as MRI, colonoscopy and any other test but nothing revealed anything earth shaking! We continued with probiotics and other treatments but he still was left with the problem.
Anyway my son and I were intrigued with his results and decided to do the tests on ourselves although we knew that we were certainly better off than he was! The results for me were good coming back with a 1.7 but the killer was our son’s results which came back a 13! He was convinced that his scores were high because he had been suffering a bad case of the flu. We decided that we would wait until he felt better and retake the test.
We waited a few weeks to retest but also decided to do not only the CRP but also do the diabetic assessment test since diabetes runs rampant on both sides of Ronnie’s family. We waited patiently to get the results back but we had the attitude that everything would come back norma l! When the results were back we were shocked, horrified and scared! His CRP did drop some, but an 11 certainly was not acceptable! And even scarier was his diabetes assessment! He had been thrown into the high risk category and was headed for a full blown sentence of being a victim of diabetes!
Luckily, I had a bone density test done and was on the phone with my doctor giving me my results. In our conversation I told her about our son’s results and she told me that I needed to get him in for a complete physical. They got him in the next day and did full blood work, chest x-rays and some others. His x-rays showed that he may have an enlarged heart so they ordered an ekg on him. Thank goodness they had all the equipment in their office so was able to do it immediately! Unfortunately, the results showed some irregularity in his heart which may show he had a blockage.
They then sent him to his cardiologist for further testing. He took his CRP test results and the doctor was not pleased at all and ordered a complete stress test with all the dyes etc. He is scheduled to do this soon but in the meantime we are chomping at the bit to get the results. All of this was a tremendous eye-opener not only for him but also for his father and I! It has certainly gotten his attention and has already begun altering his lifestyle.
Called Dr Schefdore to discuss his results and also told him that his blood work also revealed he also had high cholesterol. Ron told me that Ken had just won the “Trifecta”
and it certainly was not something that he would be taking to the bank! He said that with his high CRP, high diabetic risk and high cholesterol he was a walking time bomb headed for a stroke or a heart attack! Anyway, needless to say we20are on a mission to find out what is really going on with him and nick it in the bud before it gets any worse or becoming insulin dependent!
As previously stated this simple blood test could literally saved his life! With all this happening to us personally, Ronnie started wondering how many of his patients are a walking time bomb like Ken! He already knows that since blood pressure is mandatory in Texas and he has been shock at how many had high blood pressure and they didn’t even know it!
His question is now how many perfectly feeling patients that are walking around with high CRP levels or at risk for diabetes and don’t even know it. Most don’t visit their physicians as often as they do their dentists. How would you feel if you could perhaps save someone elses life as well as yourself and your loved ones by administering these simple tests! These tests are cheap compared to what it may cost when a condition blows up to where someone would be faced to l ive with diseases that could possibly could have been prevented if they had been aware!
I urge each and everyone of you to visit Dr. Ron Schefdorfe’s website at healthyheartdentistry.com or see some of the testimonials on www.Pharmaden.net and incorporate the dentistry against diabetes program at dentistryagainstdiabetes.com. I must warn you though—it just might save your life and those of others! Ronnie and I personally want to thank Ron for his diligent research and his efforts to get this information out to other dentists to better serve their patients. Dentists do and can make a difference in the lives of others. Just saving one life could be one of the most rewarding experiences that you will ever have. We will be continuing to track Ken’s progress and will pass it on—should be very interesting! If you have any questions please call or get Dr Ron’s phone=2 0number from his websites and give him a call. He is a super guy who has everyone’s best interest at heart (literally!) I have nothing to gain from this except our son’s life and that happens to be priceless!
